Dr. Janean Fidel Endowed Chair in Veterinary Clinical Oncology

Paul and Lynnea Thibodaux’s connection to Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine was shaped by the exceptional care their beloved Australian shepherds, Doc and Rubie, received at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Under the care of Dr. Janean Fidel and, later, Dr. Fernanda Gimenez, their dogs benefited from advanced oncology treatments that provided cherished additional years with their family.

Grateful for the compassion, expertise, and hope they experienced at WSU, Paul and Lynnea have been longtime supporters of the college’s oncology program. This fund honors Dr. Janean Fidel for the profound impact she had on the lives of both them and their pets.
