Barb Robbins Wildlife Scholarship

Established by faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends of the college, this scholarship honors Barb Robbins' 35 years of service to veterinary students and education.

The Barb Robbins Wildlife Scholarship was established to support veterinary wildlife education and to honor one of the college's most esteemed staff members.

Barb Robbins worked in the Office of Student Services at the college for 35 years until her retirement in August 2009.  She was involved in all aspects of student academics from maintaining student records, scheduling classes, and solving curriculum issues, to providing a home base for students where they could seek help and advice.

"I was happy if I knew I made a veterinary student's life easier," says Robbins.  "Helping students every day made my job very satisfying."

Barb and her husband Charlie, a professor in the Department of Natural Resource Sciences, came to WSU after Charlie was offered a one year position.  Thirty-five years later, the couple has made their home on the Palouse.  Barb enjoys riding horses, traveling, numerous outdoor activities, and raising her new Boxer puppy.

Please join us in celebrating Barb Robbins' lifetime of achievement by becoming a part of this effort.
