Leo K. Bustad Fund

Interest from the Leo K. Bustad Endowed Fund shall be used principally for supporting programs that deal with the human-animal bond, animal-assisted therapy, and the well being of animals as being conducted by the People-Pet Partnership (PPP). These programs involve education, service and study (research). Monies will also be allotted for a Leo K. Bustad visiting professor which shall be invited to WSU to lecture, meet with faculty, staff and students and to stimulate research and inquiry on the human-animal bond and animal assisted therapy. This person will be a recognized educator, scientist and/or author, well-informed on the subject of the human-animal bond and animal-assisted therapy.
