DVM Class of 2018 Scholarship

We feel strongly that the establishment of such a scholarship would provide similar opportunities as we have been provided throughout our journey to the College of Veterinary Medicine and will continue to be provided as we proceed in studying to join the profession for which we feel so passionate about. We propose that this endowment will become our class gift to the College, and eventually serve as a perpetual award to the veterinary students of Washington State.

More about this scholarship

When members of the Class of 2018 met for the very first time at the College of Veterinary Medicine’s three-day retreat, the Cougar Orientation and Leadership Experience, it was clear that the class was meant to be together. Ever since then, our group of students has been committed to supporting others and helping one another succeed. In the spirit of helping other future veterinarians, we are raising money to establish the Class of 2018 Scholarship for the benefit of our fellow students.

We feel strongly that by establishing this scholarship we can help provide opportunities to future students similar to the ones we had throughout our journey at the College of Veterinary Medicine. The scholarship will continue to be awarded as we proceed in our studies to join the profession for which we feel so passionate about. We propose that this endowment become our class gift to the college, and eventually serve as a perpetual award to the veterinary students of Washington State.

We are confident that such an endowment is something that our colleagues would appreciate and it reflects the nature of the cohesive group of friends and allies we have become. We are hereby taking the challenge to become the first class in the history of the college to raise the funding to establish this scholarship while still students, and as the Class of 2018 we would all appreciate your help in making this a reality.
